Journey Journal Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important for us at Zonventure and we collect as little personal data as possible through the Journey Journal application.

1. No personal data is collected
• Journey Journal does not require any account, sign-up or login.
• We never collect or store your name, email address, phone number or any other personal identifiers.

2. All data is stored locally
• Routes, photos, notes and settings are saved only on your device using a local database (Hive).
• Nothing is sent to us or to any external server.

3. Optional Google Drive backup
• You may choose to back up or sync your journeys to your own Google Drive account.
• This feature is completely optional and uses Google’s official API.
• We never have access to your Google account or your files.
• Backups are stored exclusively in your personal Google Drive.

4. No analytics or tracking
• Journey Journal does not use any third-party analytics tools and does not track your usage.

5. Advertisements
• The application currently contains no advertisements.
• In future versions of Journey Journal we plan to display advertisements for non-premium users, using Google AdMob.
• AdMob may collect advertising IDs and limited device information to serve personalised ads.
• You can always opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.

6. In-app purchases
• The application currently contains no payed features.
• In the future we plan to offer optional premium features via in-app purchases.
• All payments will be processed by Google Play Billing and/or Apple App Store.
• We will never receive or store any payment information.

7. Children’s privacy
• The application is not directed to children under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
• We may update this policy at any time.
• Significant changes will be communicated through the app’s update notes on Google Play and App Store.
